Beautiful bouquet. I'm glad I can rely on Hedge Fine Blooms to bless my family even when I am a long distance away.

Daughter loved the flowers… great way to start the school year for her!

----

Taras, thank you so much for your order and review! We love teachers and are thrilled we could make your daughter's day. Wishing her a wonderful school year!

This arrangement is so unique and beautiful - I asked specifically that the designer try to mimic the example posted online. The picture that my mother-in-law sent me was so close that I had to look at the pictures side by side to see the slight differences. It's a stunner and my MIL was wowed! Thank you, HFB! You are now my go-to florist in Charlottesville. :)

----
Florist's Response:

Florist's Response:

Thank you so much for your review, Freedom! We will continue striving to exceed your expectations. Hope to send some flowers your way again soon!

Hedge creations are more like works of art, not simply flower arrangements. I recently had a hospital stay and received many flower deliveries. The Hedge arrangements stood out for their beauty, shape, and flower choices. In fact, one large bouquet was a beacon of light during some difficult days in the hospital when I was too sick to read or even watch TV. Thank you to the Hedge designers for making a hard time a little bit better with your gorgeous arrangements.

----
Florist's Response:

Wendy, thank you so very much for your kind words. We are so glad our arrangements could keep your spirits up during what was no doubt a challenging time. Very grateful for your review, and your business -- and we hope you are feeling much better now that you're out of the hospital. Many thanks again!

Ordered a beautiful unique arrangement for my daughter’s birthday. She was delighted!

----
Florist's Response:

This arrangement not only brought beauty to my dear friends space but also peace to her heart at a particularly difficult time… Thanks Hedge Fine Blooms❤️

----

The ordering process took minutes and the arrangement was delivered in a few hours! The recipient loved them, the peonies were huge and smelled amazing. Fantastic service!

----

Very happy to share my experience with this newly discovered floral service (thanks to Cville - city lifestyle magazine)!

I was thrilled with the floral design, availability of the florals I wanted to send, and same day delivery (which was diverted in a change last minute).

5 start from start to finish and will use them again soon! Thank you so much!

Hedge Fine Blooms is Charlottesville's premier custom florist, providing a diverse array of floral designs and a shopping experience inspired by a European flower market. Our floral artists use only high quality blooms and offer their expertise for unique arrangements, weddings and other events.
Originally founded in 2001, Hedge was purchased in 2007 by Karen Walker. A Vermont native and long-term Charlottesville resident, Karen is a talented designer with over a decade of experience creating arrangements and orchestrating events. She is constantly sourcing new flowers from an array of suppliers and growers, as well as occasionally foraging on her own property! Residing on a farm on the outskirts of Charlottesville, Karen is always looking for ways to further her commitment to sustainability. She is an enthusiastic supporter of local growers and works hard to support Virginia businesses.
Karen's creative and talented design staff is singularly focused to provide you with special floral presentations that help you mark birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or even no reason at all! Our goal is to provide happiness through our flowers, and we hope that blooms from Hedge will become an established routine in your everyday life, as well as beautiful markers of special occasions. Karen Walker

For over a quarter century, Karen Walker has been a proud and prominent resident of Charlottesville. Her love of culture, nurturing, and nature is shown through her involvement in the local community. Live Arts, New City Arts, The Women's Initiative, The Haven, and Wild Virginia are just a few of the organizations that Karen supports. As a founding member of Wild Virginia, she has helped to take tremendous steps forward in preserving the Jefferson and George Washington forests. An animal lover, Karen has a special place in her heart for wild animals and advocates for increased protection for wildlife in the Blue Ridge. Karen took ownership of Hedge Fine Blooms in 2007, and has worked with her talented team to make it the area’s premier retail and studio event florist. Hedge is the perfect venue for her innate talent, winning personality, and delight in beautiful blooms. Karen particularly enjoys setting up the fresh flower table at the center of the store, which she considers a gift to the local community. Karen cares deeply about all of Hedge’s visitors, from her corporate clients and excited couples planning their weddings to visitors taking in the table and picking out a few stems to take back to the office (and canine visitors are always welcome as well, with treats kept behind the counter). Whether they have stopped by to smell the roses or are putting on an elaborate event, Karen wants everyone to have a truly meaningful experience at Hedge. She believes that flowers connect us with the beauty of the natural world and the innate artist in each of us, and that their presence makes every occasion (or non-occasion) at least a little bit better.
